FAQ

The questions we are asked most often about our products, analyzer compatibility, documents and partnership. If you cannot find your answer here, write to us.

Products and compatibility

Which analyzer platforms are your reagents compatible with?

Archem reagents are validated on 42 analyzer platforms from 31 manufacturers, including Beckman Coulter / Olympus, Roche cobas, Mindray BS, Abbott ARCHITECT and Alinity, Siemens Atellica and Dimension, Siemens ADVIA, Thermo Fisher Konelab, Tokyo Boeki Biolis, Dirui CS and Erba XL.

You can filter the compatibility chart on our Validation Center page by manufacturer to see the full list and which presentation is available for each platform (ready application insert, system pack, barcoded bottle).

What is the difference between dedicated and open-system reagents?

Dedicated reagents are prepared for a specific analyzer family: bottle format, barcode and application parameters match that instrument, so you load them and run. Our site has a separate page for 12 analyzer brands, each listing the reference numbers and volumes for that instrument.

Open-system reagents come in standard packaging and can be used on any open-system analyzer with parameters applied by the laboratory. The catalogue contains 143 open-system products.

In addition, a Bulk / OEM range of 158 items serves companies who want production under their own brand.

Which product groups do you manufacture?

Six main groups: Clinical Chemistry Reagents (with dedicated, open-system and bulk/OEM sub-groups), Controls and Calibrators (92 items), HbA1c Solutions (HPLC, 12 items), ISE Reagents, Hematology Reagents and Cleaners and Buffer Solutions (47 items).

Documents

How do I find the Instructions for Use (IFU) and Safety Data Sheet (SDS) for a product?

From the Downloads page. You can filter documents by product group, analyzer platform, document type and language, or follow the Document Finder steps to be guided to the file you need. Documents open in a new tab.

If you cannot find what you are looking for, request it through the contact form stating the product name.

Where can I get the lot-specific value sheet?

From the Value Sheets tab on the Downloads page. Three pieces of information are required: device name, product name and lot number — all three are printed on the box label. This three-way check keeps the documents available only to laboratories that actually hold the lot.

Value sheets are currently available for 9 devices, 109 products and 441 lots.

Where can I see your quality certificates?

On the Quality & Certificates page, or by using the Certificates filter on the Downloads page, where they can be downloaded as PDF. Published documents: ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015 — both the TSE and the IQNet certificates, with their annexes.

Can I download your product catalogue as a whole?

Yes. The Catalogues section of the Downloads page contains the general product catalogue as well as separate category catalogues (dedicated reagents, controls and calibrators, HbA1c, Validity).
